“Film Talk and Conversation”

A Sweet Auburn International Film Festival Event

Greetings!
We invite you to take part in a discussion regarding the state of Black Hollywood on Sep. 8th, 3-6 p.m. at the Auburn Avenue Research Library on African American Culture and Literature (101 Auburn Avenue, Atlanta, GA). This event will feature a screening of the 1974 classic film “Claudine” following an open floor discussion. The audience will feature independent filmmakers, film enthusiasts, politicians, religious groups and more. We would like for you to attend to share your views and thoughts about Black Hollywood. The event will is a pre-film festival event for the Sweet Auburn International Film Festival (SAIFF) which will be held on May 7-11, 2008. SAIFF is an official venue presented at the Sweet Auburn SpringFest (The Grandest Festival of the Year on the Greatest Street on the Planet). We are also using this event as a study for the upcoming book titled “The Untold Story About A Place Called Black Hollywood” written by festival producer Len Gibson. For more information about this event contact us today. We hope to see you on Sep. 8th.
